walking

i participated in Walking Around Kunming Lake event.we have to run/walk around the lake within 2-3 hours.it was about 7-8 km.macam merentas desa kat sekolah dulu2.who was managed to finish it before 5pm,will get a gift! takde la hadiah hamper makanan besar.just a cert & topup telefon.hehe.but im not looking for that either.i just want to exercise.run.walk.

when the race started, thennnn i realized how weak i am.lembik gila.tak larat.takde stamina langsung! arghhhh! kalau dulu boleh la aku selalu dapat top 10/top 5 merentas desa.sekarang semua dah tinggal kenangan.haha.anyways,the event was great! takde la teruk sangat sampai tak boleh lari.cuma tak seperti dulu dah.huhu.

event ni special.kita bukan lari kat padang/masuk desa lari2 kat jalan tar yg kecik tu.tapi lari mengelilingi tasik Kunming.tasik ni terletak dalam kawasan Summer Palace.what? is it a palace? yes it is.dulu2 maharaja suka bercuti di situ semasa musim panas.kiranya kita berlari dalam kawasan istana gitu.hahaha.over.tapi betullah.sekarang kawasan tu dah diubah suai menjadi salah satu tarikan pelancong di Beijing.hari tu sabtu, memang ramai sangat orang.

masa berjalan tu,aku melabuhkan pandangan ke setiap sudut tasik dan taman.indahnya tempat ni.damai.nyaman.tenang.setelah sibuk berhempas pulas dengan asyik pergi kelas, sekali sekala datang sini merehatkan minda, rasa tenang sangat.simfoni alam.ouhh ditambah pula dengan keindahan musim luruh...subhanallah...cantik!

salam aidiladha dari beijing

Alhamdulillah, sudah selesai menyambut Aidiladha utk tahun ini.syukur sangat, everything went well.pagi tu,lepas bersiap-siap terus menuju ke kampus timur, naik bas ramai2 ke Masjid Deshengmen.masjid ni takde la jauh sangat dari univ, cuma selalu "jam" kat situ.kalau tak salah, jalan tu adalah salah satu pintu masuk utama ke Kota Beijing.

we arrived at the mosque and immediately look for women's prayer hall.inside the hall, while waited for time to pray,my eyes caught on colors and atmosphere of eid here.local muslim ladies.they are so pretty^^ we sit in line, nicely.everybody seems very happy to celebrate this beautiful day.then the imam recite eid's khutbah.subhanallah.i listen to each and every word of it.and i really feel something, that makes me...teary...i dont know why i suddenly drown into such emotional mood.what can i say is,im just overwhelmed with the khutbah.it was recited in Chinese.while listening to it,something's like slowly took me back to few years ago, yes.few years ago of eid.that time,i dont have any idea what has been said during khutbah cause my chinese was at elementary.but now?....alhamdulillah...how time flies and it has been years.secondly, the khutbah was so beautiful.the content.the way imam remind us muslims bout eid's history, moral for the story, then something about muslims role.what we should do & shouldn't.it was just so...beautiful.

then we pray.dengan penuh kesyukuran, insyaAllah.semoga aidiladha ini memberi seribu kebaikan kepada semua.as usual, tak sah kalau tak tengok korban.you know, the cows and sheeps here are so big and cute and and and so special! hehe.last time,i berjaya tengok korban.berjaya beranikan diri tengok proses dari mula sampai akhir.so haritu berazam utk tengok lagi.aku menyelit di celah2 orang ramai.tak tahu apa perasaan.maybe.insaf.terharu.hmm.

anyway, eid is not complete without food right...hehe.kali ni kawan aku ajak beraya di Defense University.seronok.diorang wat open hall.makanan sedap kottt..malas nak cerita.just nak gitau aku makan makanan pakistan, jepun, pastu ada pulut kuning, rendang ayam, nasi himpit, kuah kacang yg sedap gila.dan sebagainya.aku sangat2 bersyukur.uncle n aunty yg kawan2 aku kenal tu baik sangat.eventhough diorang kaya, berpangkat tinggi tapi sangat merendah diri dan senang nak bergaul dengan golongan pelajar biasa macam aku ni.they are so educated and success i can tell.im so inspired with the families.

selamat hari raya semua~
pagi tu,teringat sgt2 kat umi.bila call, umi cakap semua adik2 dah ada kat rumah.aku sorang ja xdak.sobss...sedihnya...so aku decide pakai baju yg umi jahit.mmg semua baju kurung umi yg jahitkan tapi yg ni special sbb umi pun ada sepasang maxi yg kain sama dgn aku.hee.
kat sebelah tu kawan baik aku kat sini,Syamila.she's pretty kan?
semua ni kawan2 baik aku kat sini.ada ramai lagi tapi tiada dalam gambar.diorang ni semua baikkkkkk sangatttt yaAllah...i love them.tahun depan semua dah nak grad.sedih pulak rasa.selama 4 tahun lebih bersama harungi cabaran hidup di luar negara.semoga semua orang berjaya dalam hidup masing2,berjaya dunia akhirat.amin.

bergambar di main campus Beijing Foreign Studies Univ.
"I LOVE CHINA"

ramainya orang datang solat...

camera aku ada masalah sebenarnya.semua gambar jadi kebiru-biruan.malas pulak nak edit.takpelah.nampak jugak kan.ni suasana lepas selesai solat.ramainya orang.....

yaAllah rahmatilah kambing2 korban ini.amin.aku suka tengok suasana ni.rasa terharu dan sebak.pengorbanan.

syukur

sekarang dah malam.tetiba rasa rindu sangat kat rumah.apa la umi dgn adik2 aku tgh buat sekarang.hmm.semoga Allah menjaga mereka.yaAllah, lindungilah mereka, pelihara dan rahmatilah kami semua.

rindu~

heal it

something came up and i almost giving up.i dont know why,but lately there were a lot of ripped-my-heart situations.my mind always tell me to stay strong and to have the way of 22 years old woman thinking & handling life.but it turns out to be the most excruciating pain i've ever feel, the deepest disappointment and the worst frustration.yaAllah.i said in prayer,yaAllah if this happenned to take me near you, then i am redha...if this will make me put all of faith only for You,then im glad...i always believe behind this, there will be much of hikmah and lessons, for me...insyaAllah...

alhamdulillah,my precious people[many] & my beautiful sisters really help me to stand up again.i was so touched with them.thankyou.so i would like to share an article here.the lovely 'she' gives me this.

True Story: Why Was My Iman Low ?

Don't forget to share this article after reading

Many years ago, I was in front of the computer.
I kept going back and forth, back and forth to the computer to check if my Pre Calculus grade was posted yet or not.
I just kept thinking to myself, “ I have to get an A, I have to get an A, I have to get A”.
I was becoming a bit crazy. Day after day, my other grades were being posted, except for the Pre-Calculus grade. I was becoming very impatient.
Who would ever have guessed that during this time, Allaah would guide me to understanding a great lesson of life.
As I was saying, I kept jumping in and out if front of the computer waiting for my grade. I started to get very worried and distressed. “ What if I don’t get an A?..” I kept thinking to myself. I replayed in my mind how I performed in the final over and over, and kept thinking about the questions that I thought were a little confusing.
I don’t remember if at that moment, I told myself that the grade in this test doesn’t determine my status in the Akhirah, the hereafter. I didn’t question why I was getting so distressed.
Why did I get so distressed for things with the dunya so much ? Why ? Why is this dunya so important for me ? is this something between Heaven and Hell ? If I did receive an A, would that gain me rewards or would I gain Allaah’s love and pleasure?

All of my other grades were in the “A” range, and I had to find out what I got for math. The thought of not getting an “A” was choking me.
As I sat in front of the computer, waiting and waiting.. I fell across the story of Hajir online in the book “ The Ideal Muslimah” .
Ironically, the very first statements of the book were : “ The Believing Woman is Alert
One of the most prominent distinguishing features of the Muslim woman is her deep faith in Allah (SWT), and her sincere conviction that whatever happens in this universe, and whatever fate befalls human beings, only happens through the will and decree of Allah (SWT); whatever befalls a person could not have been avoided, and whatever does not happen to a person could not have been made to happen. A person has no choice in this life but to strive towards the right path and to do good deeds - acts of worship and other acts - by whatever means one can, putting all his trust in Allah (SWT), submitting to His will, and believing that he is always in need of Allah's (SWT) help and support.”
After I read these statements, I felt terrible about how I had been acting.
Why didn’t I have full trust and conviction in Allaah ? I studied hard for the test and the rest is up to Allaah. Why was I getting so distressed about something of this dunya ?  Did I ever act this way regarding my prayers ?  Did I ever act this way for the fact that I didn’t wear the complete hijab ?  Did I ever act this way because I didn’t honor my parents enough ?  Did I ever get this distressed because I don’t have enough knowledge of Islam?

As I continued to read, it had the story of Hajir. How Hajir was left by Prophet Ibrahim ( peace be upon him ) in the middle of the desert with their young baby.
The book had the statements: “ Hajar had no-one with her except her infant son Isma`il. She asked Ibrahim, calmly and with no trace of panic: "Has Allah (SWT) commanded you to do this, O Ibrahim?" Ibrahim ( peace be upon him )said, "Yes." Her response reflected her acceptance and optimism: "Then He is not going to abandon us." “
After I read the few sentences of the book, all my senses opened up. Not only that, my heart opened.
How do I know that ? Because I started to cry. I cried and cried about how low my iman was.
Astaghfirullah, look at the way I was acting. I was waiting for a simple math grade, and I was going crazy with no patience ! Look at Hajir, left in the middle of the desert with no food and no water and she had complete trust and faith in Allaah ! “
I realized that my iman was low. Where do I stand compared to women like Hajir ? Where do I stand compared to Asiya when she was being tortured by her husband , Fir’awn, and still had patience ? Where do I stand compared to Ayiesha when she was being wrongly slandered and rumors were spreading about her ? Where do I stand compared to Mariam when she had the miracle child without a father and had to face the people ? Why was my iman so low ? Why did I often find myself becoming extremely distressed and impatient for the things in this dunya ?

Sometime later, I discovered that I did get an “A” on Pre Calculus.
“What was all the fuss about ?” I think to myself. “ What if I didn’t get an “A” ? So what ? I could try harder next time. “
Why didn’t I have patience as Allaah has commanded us to have?
After that period in my life, I started to work harder on my prayers, wearing hijab correctly, learning Islam, and etc.
I finally started to try my best to putting Allaah first before everything else. Brothers and Sisters, don’t forget what Allaah states in the Quran: “And whosoever fears Allaah and keeps his duty to Him, He will make a way for him to get out (from every difficulty). And He will provide him from (sources) he never could imagine...” [al-Talaaq 65:2,3].
Look at how Allaah provided for Hajir at that time ! Her response to her husband at that difficult moment was that Allaah wouldn’t abandon her family. Allaahuakbar ! How many of us respond like that at times of distress ?
Brothers and Sisters, don’t put the dunya before the Akhirah. Remember, if you do something for the pleasure of Allaah, Allaah will take care of you. We will always find ourselves in difficult situations, which is not a surprise because this is the dunya.
Insha’Allaah , let’s strive our best to struggle in worshiping Allaah according to the Qur’aan and authentic Sunnah. That is true success. Insha’Allaah, in Jannah, everything will be perfect. Remember, our goal is pleasure in Jannah, not pleasure in this dunya.
I try to remember this statement I had heard in a lecture, “ Islam should not revolve around your life, your life should revolve around Islam. “
